In the field of modern industrial displays and automation, industrial displays are widely used in production workshops, control centers and outdoor environments as core equipment for information interaction and monitoring. The correct installation method can improve the efficiency and life of the equipment, as well as the safety and stability of production. This article will focus on the common installation methods of industrial displays. Industrial display installation methods include embedded, VESA installation, open, rack-mounted, desktop and hanging.

What are common installation methods for industrial displays

1. Embedded installation
The display is embedded in the equipment panel, commonly seen in industrial control consoles, machine tools or instruments, with a neat appearance, and looks like it comes with the equipment. The advantages are space saving and good dust and shockproof effects, but the opening size must be accurately measured during installation to ensure firmness and matching equipment.

2. VESA installation
Use standard holes (such as 75x75mm, 100x100mm) to install the display on the wall, bracket or cantilever, which is suitable for monitoring rooms, laboratories or multi-screen splicing walls. This installation method has the characteristics of flexible installation, adjustable display angle, and adaptability to different operating requirements, but ensure that the bracket is firm and choose the appropriate installation method according to the weight of the display.

3. Open installation
Suitable for displays without a housing, directly installed in equipment or frames, and also suitable for vending machines, medical equipment or exhibition display equipment. The advantage is that it is highly flexible and can be seamlessly integrated with the equipment, but the installation process is complicated and requires professional operation, and attention should be paid to the heat dissipation and protection of the screen.

4. Rack installation
The display is installed in a standard 19-inch rack, which is often used for server monitoring in a computer room or data center. This installation method is easy to integrate with other equipment, this installation method saves space and is easy to maintain, but attention should be paid to ventilation and heat dissipation, and ensure that the cable management is orderly.

5. Desktop installation
The display with a base can be placed directly on the table for use, which is suitable for scenes such as laboratories, design rooms or quality inspections where the screen position needs to be adjusted frequently. It has the advantages of simple installation and flexible location, but a stable base needs to be selected, especially in a vibrating environment.

6. Suspension installation
This installation method is to hang the display on the wall or ceiling through a hanger or cantilever, which is mostly used in assembly lines, warehouses or display screens. It can save floor space and display position is flexible, but the load-bearing capacity of the pendant must be ensured, and the wiring must be fixed firmly to prevent falling or affecting operation.

The above six installation methods all have their own advantages. Embedded saves space, is dustproof and shockproof, and is suitable for equipment panels; VESA can flexibly adjust the angle and is commonly used in monitoring; open type is convenient for equipment integration, but attention should be paid to heat dissipation; rack type is suitable for equipment integration in the computer room; desktop type is simple and convenient, suitable for laboratories; hanging type saves space and is used for assembly lines. When choosing, you need to consider both scene requirements and installation firmness.
